    hey all,

I'm using joomla through my host applications area...

of course I do not want to use the "joomla" logo
so I created my own logo and tried to do an ftp upload
but the permissions I cannot change from 664

I thought by creating a logo and naming it exactly as the template logo
it would upload, same exact name and extension, but even after repeated attempts to change the permssions
it always defaults right back to "public unwritable" it's not only unwritable
    but "unchangeable" too

tried to do what I saw on youtube for others having the same issue
but it will not accept the upload, others I've seen simply name the logo they create to the same exact as is already on the template and it "uploads" but mine won't?

    any suggestions ?

    thanks ! amf

please try to change your logo file permission (Chmod) from your file manager, would be nice if you change its as 755 or 777

since you are uploading a new logo...delete the earlier one and rename the new one and upload it. It should work out.

Try this and report if you are still having difficulties.
