Logo/Banner needed for Football Forum $25

Hi all

Take a look at www.footie-forum.co.uk - the top logo/banner is a little out-dated tbh, and I am looking to replace it.

The current one is 512px x 75px, so the new one would need to be the same size, and it is currently a .GIF file, though this is not so important (I will change it if necessary). Obviously, whilst you should provide me with a 512x75 sized one, I will want an original before resizing, of higher quality (to be used on mailings etc). I need to stick to the same size, as rotating adverts will be going to the rhs of the logo eventually.

I have no real closing date on this, but I suppose we should say 1 week or something. the colour-scheme is easy to see, and anything done should reflect this.

I would also be happy to see one of the more modern designs, with players, etc in there, and will consider all designs.

I will paypal the $25 to the winner, immediately I have chosen it.

I like the basic idea of it, but 2 points:

1) Not too fussed on the font used, something clearer maybe?

2) If you need to put players onto the banner, like you have done, maybe some of the more famous or more easily recognised ?

If you want to pick a couple of players, or whatever you think works, please pick from:

George Best (Deceased Northern Ireland and Man Utd)
David Beckham (LA Galaxy)
Fernando Torres (Liverpool)
Carlos Valderrama (ex Colombia ans numerous MLS teams)
Steven Gerarrd (Liverpool and England)

I like the idea, but the font looks a little off. Footie seems a little unevenly spaced too.

Jeez guys, I am well impressed with some of the designs, I never expected the quality of entries to be so high. I am waiting on another one or two, from people who have pm'd me, then I'll be choosing one.

Thanks Carnacior, but I am tending to favour the pics-type like some of those above.

possible49sm - that is quite nice (the font used is much much better), but again the two little footballs look badly out of place. also the pic on the rhs looks a little weird (strange head on the footballer)

I am absolutely overwhelmed by the quality of the designs you guys on here are capable of. I knew I was a bit poor at design myself, but you have made me realise I am worse than I thought. Cheers all, and I'm only sorry there has to be a winner.

I am waiting on the updates to one, which are to come through tonight, then I will probably pick a winner tomorrow morning. So keep em coming folks
