Yeah i thought that too haha. Just the writing 'NUMBER' inside the '1' makes it look like it.

Kia, thanks for the new entry. Looking at all the entries so far, the closest one is turns (the circles) and karmyoga. What I like is their concept but not the execution.
I like the fact they show the number 1 as the principal part of the badge, so it's very proeminently displayed. Of the ones that you done, I like the last one the best. However, I think that it will look better if you perhaps enlarged the number 1 and write the text outside the actual frame. That way the number 1 will stand out even more.
Personally I don't think it looks that much like the 7/11 logo. But this design definitely has that corporate look I am after. And perhaps the word "number" can be reduced in size slightly.

Shib, please read my instructions above for Kia. Your design keeps improving but I don't believe the shield or badge is conveying the image I am trying to achieve. What you use conveys security but I am after something that conveys quality. So perhaps if you tried to concentrate on making the 1 bigger, than the rest may follow.

Thanks Kia. The last one you did looks great. It's nearly there. It looks good, but I still can't put my finger on it. It somehow looks unbalanced. It could be just me, but is the number 1 not in the middle? I am referring to the last one that you did (the stand up rectangle). I also like the circle one. What I would do for both is try and place the word number on the bottom of 1. See that bottom part of number 1? The "foundation". Perhaps if you wrote number on that part of 1. I like the circle and the rectangle one. I feel like the circle would look better if it had a "frame" just like the rectangle one has. Even for the rectangle I would make the frame look a little thicker, or perhaps a touch 3d. Other than that they look good and so far I like yours the best.

Nick, thanks for the entries. They look good but they don't match my requirements. It's a bit like wearing the best clothes but for the wrong occasion. That box thing looks really, really good but it's not what I am after. I wanted some kind of symbol to convey the image of quality, where the number 1 is the main focus and the sentence wraps around it ar next to it. I basically want someone to look at it and subconciously think: "quality".
Kia, much better. I like version 1, 3 and 4 the best. The only things(s) is I think maybe if you change the colour of the word number to be more visible, and also try a thinner (more spaced) font for Supplied by Australia's protein manufacturer

Turns: in both of them I think you can use a wider, bolder font for number 1. Your first try looks simpler and better but the 1 needs to be filled up like in your second try. Your second try the 1 looks better but you made it a little too crowded by adding the star which I don't think it's necessary. But you are definitely improving.

Karmy, I like the plaque or button, I am not sure what to call it. It looks good, but the text on it does not. It's got a nice pleasant colour and shade but I can't read the text. maybe you ned to put it in a portrait layout and definitely make the number 1 much bigger and more visible.

Turns: both of your tries are much better at least visibility wise. You are going in the right direction. I would perhaps use a thinner font (more spaced) as it would look easier to read when displayed in a smaller picture. Other than that you need to maybe do something with the circles or something to give it more of a professional look. Sometimes it's the small touches that make the difference.

Shib, I don't think you read my instructions above. The number 1 does look better in your new try but I don't think you are going in the right direction with that shield. The shield represents security, while I am more after something that represents quality. I am sorry but I don't think a shield is going to do it for me. Besides, I was after a more modern look and I think the shield is a bit of a more older type of style.

Kia, your entries look good and so far I like them the best

Onix: thanks for the entry but it's not what I am after. I wanted the number 1to be the main part of the design but it's not the main part in your design, and it's also too small to read especially since this will be displayed in a small size

shib, much better but # and 1 should not be the same size. Also even though it's improving it's still not what I am after. It hasn't got that corporate and modern look. I am sorry to say it but yours looks like something you done in a hurry.
