Contest Logo & Background for iPhone application (CONTEST) -$50

Company Name - A Killer App
Theme - Martial Arts
Product - iPhone applications

The logo needs to be a square vector image since I'll be scaling it for:

1. Icon (for launching the iPhone application) 32x32 or 16x16

2. Graphic for website

I'll take a variant of the logo eventually and make patches out of it. This isn't a requirement of this contest, but something to keep in mind when designing it.

The logo needs to have space available below it for text. Each iPhone icon will have the same logo, but a different text below it differentiating the products.

ie: Karate, Jiu Jitsu, etc

The background image needs to be something that can fit in the iPhone display. This will go behind the menu options. This can be something like a cage, a dojo, or some other image/pattern that kind of fits in with the logo or martial arts theme.

Contest ends - September 22 (unless a winner is decided by then).
Prize - $50 for logo and background image.
Payment Method - Paypal only

putry_poe - Thanks for the submission, but that image doesn't make me think "Martial Arts", or "killer". Maybe bodybuilding... but not what I'm going for.

waah - Can you incorporate 'A Killer App' somewhere in the logo. Preferably not the bottom, since that's where I'll be changing the app title.

If you can't fit the words, then I'll need an image that emphasizes the "killer" mentality.

 

This is an example of what I mean by killer mentality.

gipanuhotko - The grapplers are very difficult to see. Scale it down to 32x32 and I'm not sure if you'd even be able to see what is going on. Not very fond of the colors.

putry_poe - Better. Like the one on the bottom left best. Not fond of the colors either.

jokomamamita - just a bit too pink for my tastes. Also, the stars and bubbles don't make me feel like this is the place to go to learn how to rip someone's arms off.

I was looking online today, and some of the images that came to mind were chalk outlines and fists.
