    I would recommend Illustrator for logos, but sure you can use PhotoShop if that's all you have.

    Illustrator really - really a reliable product, and the curve - the curve is relatively easy to learnmake to logo.

    Definitely. I have the entire CS, but my background is in photography so I use photoshop for just about everything.

    Illustrator is best for logo designing. And yes you can make logo using photoshop. With Illustrator you will get crystal clear picture and it can be enlarged to any size without loss in quality.

    If you need to make fast and elegant logo then you can try AAALOGO, its got pre-built templates and you can effectively edit it according to your own needs ask me you can get the trial logo from here aaa-logo.com/download.php

    I would go for fireworks, works fine with vectors. Photoshop I use for the finishing touches.
