We're launching a new Web site for amateur athletes and coaches (all major sports). We will be using the latest technology to deliver the amateur athlete marketplace into the "Web 2.0 - streaming video" era. We are in need of a logo and header for the site. Colors - dark and bright greens, Size - Header is 960x125 so logo needs to look sharp within that framework The company name is Sports Pro Community Network. We go by "SPCN" Needs to appeal to young athletes, professional athletes, coaches, and parents of young athletes. Our business will spotlight amateur athletes. Check this page on our temporary Web site for more information and a sample the founder created: http://spcn.com/25 I hope that is enough information to get some imaginations flowing. As submissions come in I'll respond providing further input to help those willing to go for it. Contest will end when we choose our favorite design or Sunday (11/29) night at 10 pm ET, whichever comes first. Thank you in advance for participating! David
Here's my try: Please let me know if there's something you want to change. Any feedback is much appreciated
Thank you nelo for submitting something! The only thing I don't like about it is the use of professional athletes, but I understand their images are more readily available. If my partners like what they see would you be able to swap out the people in the header with amateur athletes if we find those images for you? Thanks again. David
jtoms: I assumed you knew I was being sarcastic as there hadn't been any entries, but just in case... I WAS JOKING. Since there were 3 people saying they were GOING to enter but no designs it was somewhat of a tie. Did you have an entry in mind? We could use more designs if anyone out there wants to participate.
