i am after a login system for an accommodation site I have. I want hotels/motels/etc to be able to login and add the details of their hotel/motel etc which will then add their details onto the appropriate page (i.e if they have a hotel in Murringbar, it will put the hotel on the page MurringbarNSW.htm) Does anyone know how to do this? I also want two types of options a basic and premium option where the basic has a few things about the hotel/motel and the premium has the same as a basic, but it also includes a web page that is created by filling in details about the accommodation.
The easiest way to manage this would probably be via some custom php. Although it appears that the system would be fairly complex and involve a bit more than you stated. You are first going to need a way for the hotel management to create an account. All this information will be stored in a database. Also if this is a pay service you'll to create a payment system and make sure it is secure. After this is done you'll need to create a login system and a few forms that allow the management to edit database fields. To achieve your file structure it'd be best to pull the data from the database and then use your .htacess file to rewrite the url into a pretty filename.
