Login name is either empty, an invalid length, not unique or you don't have the acces

    I keep getting the following error when i try to enter a unique login under the field "Login":

    "Login name is either empty, an invalid length, not unique or you don't have the access to edit it."

    I have the following login names already entered into OptiGold:

    wmet1160.com
    onairla.com

    But when I try to enter onairla.wmet1160.com it gives the above error.

    This also happens with the following:

    strengtheningfamilies.org
    strengtheningfamiliesprogram.org

    strengtheningfamilies.org is already in the database, but when i try to enter strengtheningfamiliesprogram.org it gives the above error.

    Why is this happening? The logins are unique, I am logged in as admin & my maximum login length is 69 characters.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Are you disallowing any characters (for example a period)?

    It should be okay... I would double-check your login minimum and maximum allowed lengths under accounts preferences because that really sees like what it is.
