I am creating new website http://www.heatingandairsecrets.com/ in joomla, my developer has created login functionality for registered users. but now i want to remove login from website. I believe there are extensions available to add log in to website, may be my developer had to do some configuration to integrate login extension with registration process. and now he has to remove code or extension to disable login. as per my developer information, its around 10 hours work. I have doubt about it. I have used wordpress and i am totally new to joomla. I dont have idea, how it works. can anyone pls check and inform me, about complexity of work.
Well, I think its 2 part. Disabling the login menu item and redirecting the login link should stop anyone to log into the site front end. This is a very small task. Completely disabling the user authentication will be tough to do and I'm not sure if your developer can do it. It may need a hack to Joomla Core.
