Logic behind Suggest results ranking

hello everyone,
i was just wondering according to what are suggestions sorted, the only data shown in suggestions is number of results but the suggestions themselves are not sorted according to number of results.
here is an example i captured today,



Any ideas on why some suggestions with less results are put above the ones with more results?
comes to me like its based on number of searches together with number of results.

 

i think they were sorted by alphabethical and mix with the no. of the alphabet. ^^

 

what do u mean by no. of the alphabet.
