Don't get too excited! I'm not a serious web 2.0 company or anything. I'm just a 17 year old student and I wanted a practical project to work on as I taught myself about web coding and the result is a little blogging engine. Basically, it incoporates some AJAX and has some of the 'cooler' features you might like to find in a blogging engine. You can read more about them on the http://www.logahead.com/features.html page of the website. Here's a short rundown: Tags Sortable Sidebar Livesearch Toolbar The main idea behind it was to allow you to administer your whole blog from the main page. Anyway, as I say on the website: it isn't meant to replace Wordpress or be the next big thing; but you're welcome to have a go and give me some feedback. Please understand, it may be quite unoptimised as I am only a relative beginner. Oh, and feel free to critique the actual website www.logahead.com as well. Check out the http://www.logahead.com/features.html page for an interesting use of draggables! LINKS The Site: www.logahead.com - contains a lot more information about the engine. A Demo of the Engine: www.logahead.com/demo/ - demo/password to login. Digg It: http://digg.com/technology/New_AJAX_Blogging_Engine_-_Logahead
Hi James I'm going to take a look - and you know why? because you sound sensible and rational and not like some of the boofheads who think they can take on the big boys when they can barely code. Yet from the way you describe your system and the way you've documented it above it seems like you already have some impressive skills. good luck Sarah
that is really impressive mate! are you planning to create your own blog software, or just mod wordpress? if you are looking for any help pm me, i know php and im just looking into ajax. Hope you keep working on it! EDIT: sorry, just read the rest of your post. You should have a mess around with your own stuff, might be surprised with what stuff you come up with.
