Alright guys, I know a lot of people on here are designers / developers / logo creators, so i thought i'd ask what you think of Londons 2012 Olympic Logo... Now, when you look at this, remember that it cost £400,000 to make - thats about $800,000. Personally, I think its utter crap! and nothing compared to any one of the logo designs you could get on here for $50. It's like a child has designed it. It's really supposed to split opinions, you either love it, or hate it -- so far everyone i've asked, its about 95% hate it p.s it also changes colour, but i couldnt find the pic that does that. - but the main colour, when its on t-shirts, walls, etc, is the pink you see. So what do you think???

I wont go gaga if a novice did it. Considering the amount paid i will tear my hairs apart had one of my employees come up with this design.

It is awful - jonathan ross (a uk chat show host/comedian) described it as Lisa Simpson performing a BJ - lol.

I am not sure... but i believe that figure of $800k is not alone for the 'design'. i mean... when its done on such an large scale... there are a lot of other costs included as well. But still... i guess... the guys who agreed/finalized with logo design.. were blind or they were 10 years old kids... or... they were highly mentally retarded!!
