Web hosting is a huge market and a short domain name that makes you feel like the hosting is "secure" could be very brandable. So what do you think of LockHost.com? I've had it since 2003 when the previous owner let it expire.
Hmm... not nearly as much as I expected. How did you come up with that number? I think I can create a good design for the site and get a few clients. I'm sure that would raise the price significantly, no?
You can maybe get a $100-300 max if you put it in auctions such as sedo. Other than that, I would say there's no real market.
Actually it's hard to get short (dictionary word) plus .com domain with the word "host" at the end. I can imagine that some would pay $500 for a clean domain like that.
Yeah that's my point. It's hard enough getting a "4 letter word"+host.com and then add to the fact the short word is "lock" which makes you feel like the web host is secure. But I think I will just keep it for myself after all. If it was worth thousands of dollars I would sell, but instead I'll just try to develop it first.
