locked out of wordpress "This theme is released under creative commons licence..."

I thought I would try and remove some links in the footer of the free theme that I was using so I went into the editor and did so and now this error message is the only thing that I get out of wordpress.

"This theme is released under creative commons licence, all links in the footer should remain intact"

That's what pops up when I go to my blog... I have lost all access to my wordpress account. When I try to login directly through the site, it says that my username doesn't exist.

I don't know how to go back and fix the footer or change to another theme if I can't get back into my account.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Ahh got it. This happens when you alter the copyrights from the footer of some themes that make it not to work. All you have to do is login through your FTP and replace the footer.php file. Everything's gonna be back. Hope that helped you.

    Cheers
