I have a compaq laptop with 3 users on with mine being the admin user. I forgot the password for my user account and don't have any USB or disk or anything. I did this before and Googles it and was able to do what was suggested and got right in, but now I can't find that same info.

    Please help me !

Did you forget your password from BIOS or during Windows Logon?

I only have one admin account - the rest are not password protected. However anything I do in the other accounts asks for permission for the admin account ( mine ).

Love the hint - ADMIN - lol I have tried that many times ;) Thanks :)

Often windows xp (etc) does not have a password on the admin account (by default) unless you set one up.

Administrator as log-in and no password often works

Without any proper tools, the only best method is to reformat.
As for Linux and Mac, it's easier to do a reset.
