A few days ago Facebook had some type of technical glitch which locked millions of people out of their accounts. I was one of those people and haven't been able to recover my account since. http://mashable.com/2017/02/24/facebook-users-locked-out-accounts-hackers/#MmuO.QQvhqqa When I login to my account I'm met with the message "For security reasons your account is temporarily locked". https://s8.postimg.org/v6o9d5b51/facebook_locked_out.jpg After I click on the "Continue" button I'm told to enter a captcha code to confirm I'm not a robot. https://s15.postimg.org/4qoj10g23/captcha.jpg And after I enter the captcha code I'm forwarded to a blank page. https://s12.postimg.org/9adb4gei5/blank.jpg I've tried every major browser and get the same results. I got so frustrated that I decided to create an entirely new Facebook account.
Nope. I'm still locked out. I just started a new Facebook account. Fortunately, I didn't have a bunch of photos and postings on my account so I was easily able to re-establish myself.
You may have had bad luck in reclaiming your old account, but it's a relief you didn't lose as much info/images as others.
You have this account with your own name and you have real friends which you know personally or were you using this account with a fake name and fake profile info? What message you get when you try to login?
