Hi there, I'm looking to start physically located business somewhere on the planet. Trouble is, I don't have a great understanding of which would be a great place to go. I'm thinking about Thailand because it's cheap, an interesting place and from what I can gather, a building amount of web skills. I've also thought about China, but the language barrier is something that I don't want to have to overcome. Any suggestions as to where you'd start one?
Why don't you start it at your own country. Its more better coz you know what your country people need in the web development
Personally, I would suggest sticking with your local area; there would be no language barrier and you know the local community. Another factor to take in to account would be the issues with the financial markets, some countries are going to be worse off than others; so people spending on development might drop.
Well I have to say the U.S would be a bad choice right now. Most of us wish we were over on your side of the pond right now.

Really, it also depends on what kind of business you want or want to build. If its online business, i dont think you need to be anywhere to start it. You can be wherever you want to start it. Doing it locally would always be advisable. Im doing it locally as well. I wanted to go else where but I would like my own business to be stable first before moving to another country to explore other options. Good luck.
