Localhost not being excluded!

    I searched the forums, none contained "localhost" term.

    So, i read Analytics support section for info on this and i followed their instructions to the letter but visits from localhost referrer KEEP climbing regardless.

    I tried the cookie method, as the IP ranges method seemed overkill.

    Are there any tips from any Analytics users and site developers who have had the same issue?

    Not clear about your question? Do you mean that you are getting reports DATA from localhost?
    Are you testing dev code with GA in it?

    Please make sure Google analytics code is commented out while you are testing/developing on your test server/local server. Uncomment it only when you move it to live server

    @Ikraj, i think that might be the only way to go about it. Certainly the easiest lol. Consider this thread solved, i'm gonna roll with that suggestion.
