    Hi

I need some help. I have windows 7 installed in my 64 bit notebook. I had installed WAMPP2 server and it was working fine. But Yesterday I uninstalled it and installed XAMPP. After that I again uninstalled XAMPP and re installed WAMP. But the problemis when I type http://localhost in the address bar of browser the page does not open. Also, phpmyadmin does not open. I have uninstalled and re installed it several times, but no change. What to do? Please help me.

same problems like several times ago.
I think, you need to change port to 85.
The port 80 has already use.

Just find and Open httpd.conf file in your text editor.
Change port 80 to port 85.

I opened the file and used ctrl+F to find "80". 3 results came and I changed port number 80 to 85. Still the same problem. Browser does not open anything when I type http://localhost:85 .

I figured out the problem myself! I had IDM installed which used the same port. After I un-installed IDM, it worked fine.

    Thanks everyone for help!
