Local server not showing header error

    I have my computer running Apache 2.2.6 so I can test my pages before uL'ing to my web server. Everything has been fine till today, when I uL'd a page and I got the error of cannot modify header as output has already started. I'm not asking for a fix, I'm asking why didn't my local server show the same error message? Something in the config? Please help.

    some versions of XAMP suppress lotsa errors, check using WAMP and you will know. its all in the error reporting settings ..

    I know what the error is (thanks to the LAMP web server) and have fixed it. I was wondering why my local server didn't display the error (it's WAMP). What do I look for?
