I have a dilemma. I'm 10 pounds overweight and I fear Lebanon is crumbling, but right now, those are not my major concerns.

    I have a website http://ohioquotes.com

Not the greatest site, but it is a start. I am going to revamp it and create a sister site for Pennsylvania. My goal is to have a professionally looking site where I will be able to update text (and add text) on a regular basis.

I know very little about web design. I recently downloaded the free version of Serif WebPlus SE and still am a bit lost.

I don't mind paying someone to create the two new sites.

    But here's the dilemma:

Once they are created, I want to have the ability to EASILY go in and create and change text...maybe add new pages and do the little things to drive traffic to it. I don't want to have to play someone every time I want something changed.

If someone designs two (almost identical) sites for me, is there a best design program they should be using so that I will be able to do the things I want. If I am correct, whatever program they use...once it is turned over to me, I have to use that same type of program.

Thanks for your help. It's a shame that a guy with 27 years as a Financial Planner can't figure out these things on my own.

You could get a database driven site made up for you (but it'd cost quite a bit more to make), which would have an admin area where you login and change whatever you like. Go to the programming section of BST and i'm sure you can find somone to do it.

I have a CMS script I wrote myself that does exactly what your asking. You can login and change all yoru text, add edit and manage pages and sub-pages and also manage images for your website.

It also works on a template system so you can have any design done for it. I also offer that service.

    The demo is at http://cms.xd2.com

You can see how the admin works on the tutorial pages. If you want any more info or if if you want help but not using my system feel free to pm me. I am quite a helpful person :)
