Hello all, I've registered on here because I could do with some help on a small project of mine. As there is a lot of skilled people on DigitalPoint I'm sure someone will be able to assist me. I am looking to do some local marketing for my web design business. My initial idea was to have 10,000 A6 colour flyers printed and go door to door just to try get a few exstra clients. I am looking to target small businesses, self-employed ventures, working from home businesses, and also personal projects (blogs etc..). This will be the first flyer I have ever made so I don't really know where to start and what to put on it. For the personal sites I want to offer them a free site builder tool for them to make their own website. I would give them a 3 month trial then they just pay for the hosting of their website. For the business side I want to plug my design services. Should I really mix the two up on the same flyer or just stick with one? If just one, should I go with personal sites (profiting from the hosting), or the business sites (profiting from the design work)? Do I keep it to basic headlines or fill the flyer with lots of text? Do I add fancy photos and abstract artwork? Should I print on both sides of the flyer? What colour scheme should I use? I'm really looking for some good advice here because I'm pretty stuck for ideas. Thanks!
