WOuld it be possible to have a website that focused on local content within a city, but also has content that is broad. The best way to put it is I have a local music website and I post a combo of local and national acts on the website. Does it make sense to think that such a website can become popular outside of it's niche. I couldn't fins any online that would be good examples of this. I know my writing is confusing so I'll just restate the question as simple as I can: can a local city niche music website become popular outside of its niche?
