Does the domain extension matter at all with regards to SERPs and SEO? If all things equal, if i have a .co.uk compared to a .com, will the .com fare better or they will be the same?
ALL things being equal, there'd be a duplicate content issue All factors magically eqivalent (content keyword density, title incidence, anchored links, age of domain, etc.): The UK site will rank higher in the UK and perhaps throughout Europe. The .com would rank better elsewhere.
If you are aiming to rank on google.com ( a global presence) go with a .com. Not many people might know that another domain extension apart from the .com exists. If your site is dedicated to Britain, use .co.uk instead of a .com
yah that's the point, its hard to find a domain extension that ranks on the 1st page of Google.com apart from .com anyone has any examples of other extensions that ranks well?
