Please review: Vacaville Painters The Vacaville Painters website is minimlistic and I would like to know if you prefer graphics and lots of color or do you appreciate the message. Which would cause you as a consumer to click or call?
Hello renet, Yikes! Your website needs LOTS of help. It honestly is hurting you more than helping. I have seen minimal sites, this is not a minimal site, it is a bare bones, “no effort†site. Anyone that lands on your site is going to hit the back button in a second. Your credibility is at zero. There are millions of sites on the internet promoting their contractor services. When I do a Google Search for “Vacaville Contractor†almost 4 million sites come up. Why should visitors use your services? How are you going to break through the noise, grab visitor's attention and differentiate yourself from your competitors? You only have between 4 and 7 seconds to grab the new visitor and tell him why he should be dealing with you instead of your competitors. You do this with something called your Unique Value Proposition. Those are the reasons and they have to be front and center on your homepage above the fold. Where is your About Us page? Where are you located? The About Us page should be about YOU. A picture and a little bio that communicates your passion for being in this business and serving customers is what they are looking for. People want to do business with people, not with websites. Why hide from them? Let them know who they are dealing with. Remember, you are in a very competitive space with well established websites, reputations, pricing and customer service. What is going to make people trust you and pay for your services? Let me know what you think. I would recommend you read up on Unique Value Proposition to help you let your website visitors know how you differentiate yourself from your competitors. http://bit.ly/9tCYXe It is worth it to invest in a professional web designer. Anything is better than what you have now. Kindly, Shelby Optimizing your website for conversion isn't expensive. Leaving money on the table is.
It feels very incomplete. Try adding some pictures and a logo of some sort. When you go too minimalistic, it doesn't give the visitor any incentive to stay and read what you're all about. Shelby makes some very helpful points in that you should envision yourself in the visitor's shoes and question what would make them use your services
