LOC -- World Copywrite?

    I had heard that when you copy write something at the Library Of Congress, its not only domestic--but a world copy write. Anyone have info on this?

    I don't know exactly what you meant, but I have seen lately many people confusing terms :rolleyes:

    The Library of Congress is a US institution I doubt that it has any effect worldwide but you would need to talk to a lawyer to be sure.

    Here is what the U.S. Copyright Office says:
    http://www.copyright.gov/circs/circ1.html#icp
    So the answer is that copyright in the U.S. will give you protection in some foreign countries (at least under some conditions), but not others. Read Circular 38a, and if you still need more information, talk to an attorney who specializes in copyright law.
