LOADS of backlinks from random sites?

    Go to http://backlinkwatch.com and enter my blog http://www.genwebs.net (with the www)

    Notice lichao.net and aboutwebmaster.com? Why do I have a backlink for nearly all their pages but I cannot find my link on them and I never even visited these websites.

    There are many reasons why you see those as backlinks. From referrer-spam to mistakes or other "white" reasons. If you think this can harm you, just block them in .htaccess (you can block visit with that referrer) .

    maybe they used a google search box on their site and redirected to you??

    These problems mainly arise if you have used an automated link submitting tool and it may have gotten your link placed in the wrong place. You should stick to manual submission from now on as it pays of in the long run.
