Hey, can you please check out www.thenewsparty.com?

I am running alot of Flash content on the site so it takes a while to load, I am on a very fast connection and it even takes a few seconds to load for me.

Is it a bad loading speed?

    Thanks.

It took a few seconds for me to load..3 to start and then 5 - 10 seconds to fully load everything. Overall, I would call it a pretty decent load time.

Took a couple of seconds to load with my broadband connection. While scrolling down the page, the videos were up or coming up, so not bad at all.

I have a fairly strong connection, using RoadRunner broadband Internet service. With that said, I experienced a four second start time and there was 18 seconds in total for complete loading.

The loading speed looks ok to me but I would suggest that you center the page though.
