Loading Problem in IE

    Hi,

Not sure if anybody can help. I'm not a web designer and have not been involved in the creation of the site. ( www.eparties.co.uk ). We have achieved some good results on SEO but people don't seem to want to order from the site maybe because of the problem below.

When you load the site through IE it takes for ages (about 10 or so seconds) and seems to be downloading about 300 images but on Firefox it loads immediately.

Not sure what the problem is but it uses something called CyberTill to get the products. It seems to be loading graphics when it counts down but can anybody tell from looking at it what the problem could be.

    Any advise would be appreciated.

The initial rendering in Firefox was painfully slow for me -- once in cache it loaded much quicker (but still somewhat slowly) in IE, Opera and Firefox. Of course, as you point out, there are an awful lot of images to load -- the Markup is also convoluted and bloated.

    Thanks for that James,

Looks like i'll have to tell the designer to simplify it.
