loading content with AJAX vs regular pages --> difference in earnings?

    Hi,
I currently have a website that generates a lot of ad-impressions (no ajax, meaning every link will take you to another page which looks the same but the content is different...so more pageviews are generated).

My question is; Would loading my content via ajax (as opposed to straight page-to-page content linking) affect my earnings at all?
My logic behind this question is based on the CTR. If I reduce the number of ad-impressions by loading in new content via ajax but still have the same/similar amount of clicks....would I technically be earning more?

Any thoughts or comments are appreciated.

PS. I haven't tried it by myself yet, but I'll give it a go in a few weeks when I have some free time and will post my results! :)
