I couldn't help it guys...

I just noticed that google's got like multiple banners rotating here on DP. That's so fucking gay.

Anyways, back to making money.

In the upper right hand corner, there is a Google advertisement for AdWords.

 

How do you think the forum owner makes money off this?

Besides its revenue share teh members can amke money from the google ads too.

 

I have two questions.

1. Why is it 'fucking gay' that Google is advertising it's AdWords service?

I'll tell you what's not gay, Shawn getting $10K a month for said banners and adsense placements....if in fact that is still the case.

 

This not the only forum that you will see adsense banner,s. That's how they make money, just like if you put it on your website.

Someone was saying they could only see normal text ads. That proves that there is a banner advert in the place of the Text Link.

Yes... Google will rotate the ad depending upon the place from where you're visiting.

 

Who would of thought it, a company advertising it's services, everyone else always advertises other peoples products
