I read something today that said 4 letter pronounceable domains with the .net extensions were becoming more valuable. Obviously the LLLL.com's are valuable but I was thinking about purchasing RAYZ.net and some other similar domains. Are these type of domains really valuable? Please let me know. Thanks
Have you established who your target audience is for this domain if your purchase it? Rayz.net may not be worth much because of its extension however to the right buyer may be just what they are looking for always keep in mind the target audience and aim for .com preferably
Thanks for the reply and yes I know the .net extension obviously won't be as valuable as the .com, but the price for Rayz.com would be extremely high because it is very pronounceable so I was wondering if really pronounceable .net's are worth a good amount of money?
Well its a risk you only you can validate taking are you willing to hold on to it for a while perhaps the i see rayz.com is being developed with content already perhaps he would be interested in buying it from you ? I believe it may have some potential but I doubt any significant resale value soon if it were say boobs.net you would be onto something with a bit more potential as far as short .net domains go!
I think there are better investments to be made. Personally, I manage well over 10,000 domains; and I don't think I would be tempted by LLLL.net's right now unless it were an actual word. Incidentally, if you are looking to purchase something, I'm looking to sell something. This is my honest opinion, regardless.
