Four-letter domain registration remains stable lately. But the available number decreases at a higher rate due to less dropped domains. February new registration is 6336. Total number of available domains is 51797, a decrease of 3970 from last month. For a graphic view, please go to dyyo.com. The most significant event during the past month is that the total number dipped as low as 34737 on Feb 28, which is caused by the traffic testing. As the domain pool keeps getting smaller, the traffic testing makes it increasingly difficult for people to look up domains. So we are updating our database daily to make the domain picking a little bit easier.
The graph itself is dipping a lot. Lets see if that graph hits the bottom at the end of this year or so.
That's pretty neat to see what is still available. I did a quick run through 8 or 9 pages. I liked bxmb.com as it almost looks like bomb.com. Sort of a censored bomb so to speak.
I am not sure if it is related but I visited your site last night, so anyways a few minutes ago I went and I looked up the WHOIS on a domain when I got this message: Welcome to the Network Solutions Registrar WHOIS Server. The IP address from which you have visited the Network Solutions Registrar WHOIS database is contained within a list of IP addresses that may have failed to abide by Network Solutions' WHOIS policy. Failure to abide by this policy can adversely impact our systems and servers, preventing the processing of other WHOIS requests. What's strange is that NetSol will let me look up the whois on their site, but not GoDaddy.com. edit: Here is a screenshot.
