Drop rate stays low for April, only a total of 2035 for the month. New registration is 6719. The available pool shrinks 4684 to a total of 41240. If the trend keeps steady, we see the end of the year as the day when all LLLL.com are taken. Go to dyyo.com for a graphic view. Four letter domains consisted only of the premium letters are mostly back ordered. It is becoming rarer to see those for sale anywhere. As the total drop of this type in April is only about 1 per day, the competition is quite strong. Four letter domains started with 'A' are consistently not available in the pool. They are picked up fairly quickly when dropped. While the number of domains started with 'B' and 'C' is just about 200, we may see the available domain starting with 'D' in a couple of month. The pronounceable four letter domains are commanding big premium now. But it is quite subjective with regard to how easy to pronounce something that is not a word.
i still have a lot of 4 letter domains - i have some 3 character ones too now lol - but i think u r right about they will all go away after this year is over
Actually.. it is easy to pronounce 4 letters that are not real words: ex) frut all you need is a consonant followed by a vowel..
The wait is getting longer and longer. Hoping someday someone will post that there are no more 4 letters available now WOOHOO.
