I do not understand lll domains. Why wuold the be worth anything. They are not good for a site name. They are not easy to remember. They are nothing.
Because they are can be used for a company name that is abbreviated and with it only being very few characters makes it easily memorable etc.
I don't think that 2 sales would display the trends. Reasons of the price for QVK.com FQV.com are lower than 8K are because of both of them have 2 unqualifed characters. If you back to one year ago, the market price for this kind of unqulified LLL.coms was $5.5K or so. And current price for LLL.com with all 3 good characters are still increasing, about $12k-18k. Much higher than one year before
I highly disagree. How are they not easy to remember? They are some of the easiest domain names to remember, IMO. I think the value is obvious but I suppose to each his own.
It's all about abbreviations...Without an abbreviation, I will be honest, I wouldn't pay a dollar for an LLL.com, but I mean, a company like Smuckers (The PB & J Company), really known at J.M. Smuckers...Wouldn't you prefer to type in JMS.com rather then JMSMUCKERS.com...It's just easier Anyways, thats my outlook on this subject
