LLL.com domain checker

Hey,

Since it looks like 3 and 4 letters domains are very researched I thought about coding a little program that create a random list of 3 or 4 letters domains and check real time if they are free to register or not.

It's curently looking like this :



What do you think about such an app ? Do you think it's worth selling it $5 or something ?

 

This would save people alot of time, sounds like a good product.

 

No Mac OS X version ?

 

It's currently written in c# so making a java version wouldn't be very hard. However I never used Graphical User Interface with java. But yea it's a good sugestion I will think about a OS:X version

 

I added a few features today :



You can now generate and check for domains with numbers, and you can choose at what position you want the numbers to be.

Any suggestions on features I could add ?

Does it check ccTLD ?

 

It's curently working with .net & .com i'm curently trying to get it to work with .info & .org, I will take a look at .cc and post here

Your product is something that I'm looking for. How ever I would like to suggest you some stuff.

1. Can you add the count feature? So the user can know how many of them available.
2. List dictionary words first. random combination is not attractive and not what people are looking for.
3. don't limit it to 3/4 character words. Increase if possible.
Your product would be great to me if you can add these features.

 

1. export the list in a .txt file, than copy the text in it and paste in excel.
2. this application is not just a domain checker, you can check domains at any domain registrar.
3. do you mean 3/4 characters?
the only features that should be added is for 5L combination, but it's not that necessary.

 

Exporting pasting etc can be used if count feature is not available.
Yes 3/4 Characters .
What about the dictionary words? Don't you think that is what people are looking? Words that make sense and not just a combination of random characters.

 

Count feature : Adding it isn't a problem at all, acutally I already had it implemented but removed it because I found it anoying xD
5L Domains : Well this would be a bit more work but still I will probably add it in the new version
Dictionary word : Sorry but I have to say no to that, remember it's a $10 app this would be to much work

 

Ok Bro. Don't add it to the basic Version. Make a premium Version with that feature and charge $100. Just giving you some biz suggestions that's all.
