What would be the best company type to form if i wish to start a internet marketing business. It would only be me maybe one or two other employees. I would use legalzoom.

    LLC? Incorporation or something else?

Both will protect you, to some extent, from liability. An LLC is simpler, faster, and cheaper to obtain while an S-corp (inc.) will have better tax advantages. An LLC you can do yourself through your state's website - you don't need to pay $ to Legalzoom.

Note: I am not a lawyer or an accountant.

i would recommend a llc, that is what i have.

an s corp might be good too...but i don't think you need an inc.

If it is really only going to be yourself, and only a few others, there is no real reason to go inc.

Most states the fees are the same tobycope. So that reasoning really doesn't apply unless his state is like that. Also, check and make sure your state allows s corpsif you want to go that route.

An LLC is a lot less of a hassle though. Still have to keep accurate records, but, there are a lot less things you have to keep. And it is really easy to do yourself. No need to hire a lawyer. The forms are basically your name, address, company name, address, and some other things. Things you should know since you are the one forming it.
