I am trying to register a .eu domain at dynadot and they are asking for eu id.
I have never registered any territorial domains(I think that's what such domains are called) before and I want to know am I allowed to register such domains on normal price if I am not living in those places?

at least, they are asking beforehand. I registered a .re from Internetbs and later, they ask me the details. Thus, cancellation of domain and no refund either. Lucky You!

I friend of mine does .eu regs and he said that they have changed the rules and now anyone can get one whether they live there or not. PM me if you want his web site. You can always contact him for more information.

Nobody has changed the rules as far as I know and that is what the EurID sites says, in any case, if they really really say anyone can now register a .eu domain as TDub posts, then you don't need anyone to register one for yourself because you can do it alone.

Well its been five days since I registered this domain and its been parked at Dynadot. I am not starting a website on it as yet.
From the comments made in this thread it looks like they can take it away from me when ever they want.
