Live Video Feed+ CMS=???

    Hello Room,

    I have requests for two websites with live video stream and a CMS. They are ITV website concepts (like http://www.ustream.tv/).

    One of my clients is a well known comedian in the US and the other is a regular joe with an idea. Both want to be able to show a live TV feed and archives (recorded Video) as well.

    What system would work for this. I know I need a Flash Media Server but what else? Can Joomla or Wordpress handle a live video feed? Should I use PHP? Advice is appreciated.

    You can replace Flash Media Server with Red5 (open source and free), I guess.

    I don't see why Wordpress or Joomla wouldn't handle a live video feed...your server should handle it :) (and also your bandwidth).
