I'm helping out with the sports section of my local high school website. We are blessed with a lot of students who are interested in covering the school's sports for the site, and we've discussed adding real time scoring for live events. My question is, what is the easiest and least expensive software to get into this? The only possibility I've seen is Meridix, which seems like a great product, but is too much for what is essentially an experiment. We'd be willing to invest in something like that in a year or so if interest keeps up. So, any ideas? Thanks in advance. Tom.
You can find many sites offering live scores as RSS feeds . Heres an example > http://www.yoursportpools.com/soccerfeed.aspx
rss feeds would be the best method if you could find some live score feeds and then use something like the google api to deliver the scores to your website
