Live Search

    Hi

    I have a pr4 40k Pageviews a month website - http://www.dev102.com i get great results with google but my results with Live search are very poor. i hardly get people from live search. is there anything like webmaster tools or so? should i do some different SEO for live search?

    I get very little traffic (2% of total) from Yahoo, Live and MSN. Google is the only search engine that I concentrate on. I rank as well on Yahoo and Live for the same search terms but get almost no traffic.

    Live Search may not send much traffic, but I certainly will take whatever they give me! :)

    Also, you can sumbit your XML sitemap to Ask.com. Just enter the full path to your sitemap after the = symbol below and go to the URL. It will visually confirm the submission.

    I've been following the discussions about how the MSN / Live ranking system works on their forums. It really seems like no one knows what they're doing, the employees don't even seem to know why sites aren't indexed or even worse Dropped for no known reason. I saw some horror stories on their forums about webmasters who had 2000 pages indexed by msn only to be dropped completely due to a missing ; in a javascript. All of their ranking was lost for good! The MSN employees checked it, told them what to fix and said, eh.. you're on your own, the bot will pick you up again eventually. (I'm to new to post links or I'd link to the story.)
