Live search is useless. When i search adsense in live it shows different result? Not the home page link to adsense.

I think they have changed their algorithm. It is no more how it used to be when it was msn.

Issue with Live search seems to be you search for one time it gave a set of results, you return the next day to search the same thing you get different, it is not that consistent compared to Google. At least this was my observation some way back. Have not used Live for sometime now, it seemed Google suffice.

Basically, live results are poor (IMO). Page six of Google results has better sites listed than page one of live for the same phrase.

I know my niche very well, who of my competitors have the best businesses and websites. They don't show up on page 1 of live. They are the top sites in G. Instead, live presents throw-away sites made for adsense and lots of .edu spam (forum spammers).

Live is about as good as Vista. :)

I don't use it for the above reason - I think the results are poor. Google is my primary and Yahoo is my secondary.

Recently I noticed many of my websites are ranking #1-5 for highly competitive terms. They must have been an algorithm change cause a bunch of my sites are now like that at once.

Yep, I don't like or use Live search anymore.

Simply stick to Google. Much better.

This is one of the reasons why Microsoft would love to acquire Yahoo :)

All I know is I seemed to have figured out their algorithm to a T because I have multiple sites ranking at the very top suddenly. So to me they are wonderful. :)

I prefer yahoo and google over live, however i will say that one of my sites idoes very well in live serp's and pulls a nice profit from it, so I can really Burn them... :) It puts money in my pocket. :)

yahoo is the lamest of the all. They take forever to index and all the sites are ancient and haven't been updated in years usually. Although MSN has more spam etc overall they give more fresh content sites, which is important in many topics.
