Live PageRank Stat

I have created a PageRank Stat to sit on web pages. This stat basically says, this site is a PageRank X site.

Depending on the server load it may not be hosted forever. In that case I will make the scripts publicly accessible.

It's not meant to fool anybody. It is much easier to add one HTML line than to code a different line for each reference to pagerank.php.

If you want to use pagerank.php then be my guest. I might have to load balance somehow in the future so referencing the .js file would be in your best interest however.

I'm very curious to whether or not people will use this.

Still looks broken. I see an "action cancelled" or some kind of error where the graphic is supposed to be...

Am I allowed to say "dumbass" on this board? I ask because today I feel like one. Even after mxlabs plainly troubleshoots and explains the problem the meaning was completely lost on me.

My apologies to anybody who wasted their time clicking on the previous link. It is now in working order for everybody, not just me and my "localhost".

    Hi ThinkBling

Just wondering if your banners should more accurately state:

'Google ranks this page 0 out of 10' ;)

Cool idea, if it catches on and gains credibility I'm putting

Google ranks this site a 9 out of 10
    Powered by ThinkBling.com

    on every page!

Seriously though, that could be great for your PR and could be useful on links pages for people not using IE.

I would love to see this catch on at some Linux sites. They could really give this a boost as a Linux desktop doesn't get the PageRank toolbar.

If anybody visits them, it would be greatly appreciated if you passed along this information.

The PageRank Banner has been extended again. One style can show both Google PageRank and Alexa web rank.

With their hidden h1 text at the bottom, they'll soon be proud to display the very impressive PR=0

and their page has had more views than yours - currently 1384 to 909! ****
And they're calling it every time so they'll get a performance hit.

The catch here is that you have to give the page you want ranked so it's incredibly easy to slap them!

PS: don't you just hate it when people try to stop you getting their images by using javascript to block a right mouse click when they should be using the stylesheet to protect them. Just drives you to bad behaviour!

I'll wait until it becomes a bigger problem. I'm pretty open with my work.

Maybe they will stumble across this and decide they want to give me proper recognition. More likely they will either start using enough bandwidth to annoy me or their cheesy site will eventually wither.
