    Once your site becomes popular you can start charging quite a bit for just advertising. Much more than you would make on adsense.
    But, I wouldn't doubt that people make 5 times more money than I do at work just with their adsense =)

    Of course, you can live off the income made on the internet. There are a lot of people that do that. Internet is still fledgling industry and the number of people that will make a living from it in the future will only increase. There are also people making a living off adsense. However, you will find most of these have diversifiedd and are earning from other sources as well.

    I pay my daily dues from internet money. Adsense is one of the best programs, no doubt. But you have to think some second plans!
    One thing's for sure: If you're making big money with adsense, means if you got a pretty strong site. So if they ban you, don't worry, you'll still got your site(s). This is what's the most important thing, the site itself, not publisher programs!
