it was a short zoom...stage really wasn't big enough for me to climb aboard.

In fact, the much larger shows - while you can shoot from in front of the pit right @ the stage, they only give you 3 songs to shoot! then they kick you out as not to be a distraction I guess.

 

This is the (local) band Bitter Tongues, not my style but not the worst act I had to cover either :-P

i do have live concert videos but have never gone to see any such kinda thing

 

I think a lot of that depends on where you live too; city or rural. Here, you could go see any one of 50+ live acts any night of the week...never could have done that where I grew up in the country!

 

Very nice pictures wonderful moments out there, I bet

 

it's a lot of fun, challenging work since the lighting is such a pain in the rump!
