Live Messenger 2009 - WTF???

    The latest version of Live Messenger is not showing my contacts in the list. And the old version 7.5 that I was using is now requiring me to install the latest version saying it is a MUST. Now what do I do? :confused:

    Option #1: Use latest version without any contacts.
    Option #2: Use old version and unable to signin.

    And I'm not alone with this issue!

    I also got this prob this morning, i cant even sign in to my msn, my solution is to use meebo.com and i can sign in msn fine try it!

    I am using MSN 2009 and there is no such problem. Check your computer settings.

    I dont think there is something with his pc nor with his messenger,
    MSN/Hotmail were screwed up those 2 days ..
    faced similar thing with Windows Live Messenger ...
    I couldnt sign in to my messenger this morning ..
    Just keep trying

    this had happened to me in yahoo messenger this was coz mcafee was blocking something...

    Uninstall it completely, and then retry after reinstalling it.

    Thats why i dont update every single Msn there is to update.. I prefer older ones anwyways, But you can Uninstall it and leave no traces of it, maybe use CCleaner or any program like that to completetly erase the traces then go download the latest version once again.
