Live Help intercepting customers and not getting credit.

    Hi everyone,

I am wondering if there are any ways to discover if a live help system will effectively kill your chances of getting credit for a sale. The program I am looking at has a pop up live help box that comes on the screen about 20 seconds after the visitor hits the page. Will my id continue on into the live help scenario and into the sale or will it not track if the live help converts them. Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks.

There are some systems, like "save a sale", that overwrites the affiliates cookie and takes credit for the sale. But then there's programs like "Live Person" that don't. It depends on which company is there.

Thanks for the response, I am going to have to do some research regarding this company's specific program apparently. I am going to ask them, buttt, need to do some investigation as well. Thanks again.
