I don't get it. It's suppose to be better and improved than the old search.msn.com but it's so damn slow. Like right now, I am trying to search and it is taking it ages to bring results. All other search engines/sites are working, NOTHING wrong with my internet connection (I am on DSL) then why is it so damn slow!? When the hell will Microsoft start doing things the goooooogle way?

I think Live.com is still in testing phase.

At least bill gates wasnt bragging when he said he would make a search engine to give google a run for their money. I dunno when, but i think it was around 1 year ago. Gates said he would make a search engine to compete against google.

I am assuming that the search engine is live.com, and i must admit, google has a war.

Besides the speed, the results are crappy too. More spam than ever... I'd prefer search.msn.com over live.com any day! I know they are the same but the recent updates are crap! More like Yahoo now!

Speed is fine for me. Quality is another story, though.

I checked out live .com a while back. It seemed like they were trying to do too much spiffy stuff with AJAX and DHTML that broke in Firefox. Since Firefox is my browser - and IE 7 is not going to get me to switch back - that is a big reason not to use it. I don't like clutter on my home page, but I do like some substance. I have had Yahoo! as my home page for some time now and it provides me with some day to day things that I like to have such as the daily news and my email.
