I always wondered who provides these pop-ups that suggest you to have a conversatuion with operator when you come to web-site. Recently I met a web-site of such a company - Provide Support and read a little. Now I`m wondering if these pop-ups engage visitors or more likely to scare them
Usually people do allow web browser to block pop out. If it pop out on the home page. I pretty sure that customer will scare away or close it directly. Why not use live chat in other landing page like contact us or scroll down beside the landing page? i still not prefer the live chat as pop out, as long it auto pop up. I will ignore it.
Try not to pop up. It is annoying. You can use the livecaht support that you can see who is visiting your website. Then, you approach them instead manually instead.
Some are exclusive design or program by website owners/webmasters/web developers so I think it's best you design your own. Otherwise I know activalive.com provides outsourcing for this for a fee.
Its go down to personal preferences. For me,I find its very dependable on what kind of site I dealing with. If hosting then I'll be fine.
Better if you can use scripts for it to function like a mini chat window at the corner of the screen/site. Ajax is one of the technologies you can utilize for this purpose.
Actually it depends on why you are there in the first place. If you are there just browsing the site sure it will annoy you. But if your there for a support or an inquiry, the live chat would be very useful coz it would allow instant communication.
Some times pop up enoy website visitors. The proactive floater effect is the best option rather than pop up window if you have added live chat on your website.
i will sugggest you for only livezilla is best or free for any website..and easy to understand this way..there are also tutrial regarding installation and upgration...and how to use this software its also on website./.
I would suggest you to check "Banckle Live Chat" application which allow you to add a live chat interface on your website and communicate with real visitors. Features: 1 year Free trial Most secure with user friendly interface compatable with wordpress, joomla, Drupal, shopify, blogger etc Banckle Live Chat : http://banckle.com/apps/live-chat/default.html
I personally find the pop ups a little intrusive, if I really wanted to chat to someone about the website Id click on the live support link.
pop ups are a turn off, if you want them to to live chat, do what the rest do. Add a little dynamic box at the bottom or top corners.
Well, I will stick on the old custom way. Pop ups can really be annoying, really. Most visitor do not want those things and more likely wont stay long on your site.
