Is this new or am I new?

    Clarification:
Icon appeared in the middle of a full size banner. At the left side of the 2nd ad.

Has anybody seen this be4? Are there more?

    Peace,

    E.

They are favicons (16x16 pixels), and appear in some ads. They started testing them out back in May, but I haven't noticed any for a while.

I have some screen shots here that I took back in May when they first showed up.

"Google Adsense is finding new innovative ways to drive away competition from related contextual advertising web services. For those who find text link ads merging with the general links and background leads to poor CTR, this might draw some attention to those ads!"

    Got it. Thank you Jenstar.
